One call, then forgotten
A new lead gets a call and a voicemail on day one. By the end of the week nobody remembers it, and it sits in the CRM until it goes cold.
Lucidity Connect For dealership BDC and internet sales teams
Connect is the calling, texting, and follow-up workspace for dealership BDC teams. New leads jump the queue, the cadence decides who's next, and managers see the whole floor live.
Now onboarding new dealerships. We set up your workspace with you. Built with a dealership general manager
The problem
Most dealerships don't have a lead problem on day one. They have a follow-up problem on day three, day ten, and day forty.
A new lead gets a call and a voicemail on day one. By the end of the week nobody remembers it, and it sits in the CRM until it goes cold.
Without a queue, reps call the fresh, easy leads first. The callback promised for 4:30 happens at 6:15, or not at all.
Who called whom, what happened, and what's next? Half the answers live in notes nobody wrote, and the texts live on personal phones.
How it works
From the first inquiry to the sale, each step happens in one workspace and lands on the lead's record.
Your CRM or lead provider posts ADF/XML or JSON to Connect. Lucidity Bot, CSV imports, and calls from unknown numbers add leads too.
New leads go ahead of the cadence. Reps get a new-lead alert with a Call now button.
The rep dials from the browser, texts mid-call if it helps, and logs the outcome with one key. With transcription on, AI drafts the notes and the rep confirms.
90-Day Outreach schedules each next attempt and favors each lead's best time to call, learned from past connections.
Book the appointment on the call. When the customer arrives, check them in and record whether they showed and bought.
Inside Connect
Reps get one lead at a time with the reason it's next. Managers get a live view of every call, text, and outcome.
Call queue
Reps don't scroll a list and pick. Connect hands each rep one lead at a time, puts the most time-sensitive calls first, and shows why each lead is next.
Texting
Once texting is set up for your dealership, reps text from your dealership's numbers inside Connect. Every message sits on the lead next to the calls, so the next rep sees the whole conversation.
Follow-up cadence
Every lead starts on 90-Day Outreach. Connect works out when the next attempt is due and puts the lead back in the queue, so follow-up doesn't depend on anyone's memory or a sticky note.
Appointments
Appointments booked on a call land on a shared calendar. When the customer walks in, a QR check-in gives the salesperson a briefing on who they are and what they came for.
AI notes and coaching
Turn on call recording and transcription, and AI drafts the notes from each conversation so reps can move to the next one. The rep reviews and confirms the disposition and notes before they're logged.
Manager view
The dashboard shows who's online, who's on a call, and what's overdue right now. Goals, the leaderboard, and Power Hour sprints keep the team moving, and analytics shows where leads drop off.
Numbers and guardrails
Controls that keep calling and texting inside the lines your dealership sets, with sensible defaults from day one.
Number health
Each number is checked daily for carrier blocking, answer rates, and short calls. Per-rep or shared numbers, your choice.
Auto-pause
A number with high carrier blocking is paused automatically when another number can take the calls, and workspace owners get an alert.
Hours
By default, calls go out 8am–9pm and texts 9am–8pm on weekdays, in the lead's local time. Weekend calling and texting are settings you turn on.
Opt-outs
Mark a lead Do Not Call or text opt-out and Connect stops calling or texting them. A STOP reply opts the lead out of texts.
Consent
Each lead records whether consent was given, when, how, and where it came from.
Access
Owner, Manager, and Representative roles. Call recording and live listening stay off until your dealership turns them on.
Better with Lucidity Bot
Lucidity Bot checks every inquiry first: phone, email, address, duplicates, and source. Connect it in Integrations and Bot sends only qualified leads into Connect's call queue, with the source attached. Your CRM and other Bot destinations keep working as they do today.

Why we built Connect
Thomas EhrlichCo-founder, dealership general manager
Lucidity started with a dealership sales team's lead problems. Our co-founder, Thomas Ehrlich, is a dealership general manager, and Connect is built around what a GM needs to see every day: every new lead called, every callback kept, and every outcome on the record.
Connect is now onboarding new dealerships. The Lucidity team sets up each dealership's workspace with them, so reps start on a working queue, not a blank screen.
FAQ
What dealership teams usually ask before a demo. Have another question? Book a Connect demo and ask us directly.
No. Your CRM stays the system of record. Connect receives leads by ADF/XML or JSON webhook and is where your team calls, texts, and follows up. It doesn't write back to your CRM today.
Your CRM or lead provider posts ADF/XML or JSON to your Connect webhook. You can also connect Lucidity Bot, import a CSV, or add a lead by hand. When an unknown number calls in, the caller becomes a lead.
Yes. Connect Lucidity Bot in Integrations and Bot sends only the leads that pass its checks, with the source attached. Your other Bot destinations, like your CRM, keep working as they do now.
Yes, once texting is set up for your dealership's number. Reps text from Connect, including during a call, with templates and merge fields, and photos customers text in show up in the thread. Opt-out replies like STOP are honored automatically.
Yes, for the paperwork around a call. AI writes a short outcome summary after each call and runs daily objection coaching. With recording and transcription turned on, it also transcribes calls, suggests a disposition with drafted notes the rep confirms, and gives feedback on each conversation.
Connect checks each number daily for carrier blocking, answer rates, and short calls. A number with high carrier blocking is paused automatically when another number can take the calls, and workspace owners are alerted. Calls use local-presence caller ID where a matching number is available, and calling and texting hours default to the lead's local time.
No. Connect runs in the browser, so reps need a computer and a headset. It can also be installed as a web app from the browser.
It depends on your dealership: the size of your team, how many phone numbers you need, and how leads reach you today. We don't publish a price list. After a demo, we quote your dealership directly.
