The short answer

WhatConverts' own positioning is "we're not stingy with our data," and the export paths back that up. Use the Lead Manager export for your full data set or filtered slices. Use the Lead Import tool's CSV template as a round-trip format, exporting first so you keep the Lead ID column. Use the Zapier Create Export action if you want filtered CSV exports on a schedule before you leave.

If you do one thing: export all data from the Lead Manager for each profile you care about, then open the file and confirm the columns you will actually need later: Lead ID, contact fields, source and campaign data, and sales value if you used it. Sources, verified September 14, 2026: steps come from WhatConverts' help center sections on exporting leads, the CSV template, and the Zapier export action, plus its Export All Data feature page. Interfaces change; confirm against the current help center.

Path 1: the Lead Manager export

The Lead Manager is where lead data lives, and its export covers three scopes: the entire data set, a filtered set, or only what is currently visible on screen.

  1. Open the Lead Manager and apply the filters you want: date range, lead type, source, quotable status.
  2. Choose the export scope: all data, the filtered set, or the currently visible rows.
  3. Download the export and open it immediately. Verify the columns you will need later are present before you rely on the file.

For agencies with multiple profiles, run the export per profile and keep a profile-to-file mapping in your own notes, so client data never gets mixed during migration.

Path 2: the CSV template round-trip

The Lead Import tool exists for imports, but its CSV template doubles as the round-trip format. The template, downloadable from the import tool, includes column headers already named for WhatConverts fields. Export first, then use the exported file's Lead ID column to match records precisely if you ever update or re-import.

For a switch, the practical use is field mapping: the template tells you exactly what WhatConverts calls each field, so you can build the mapping to your next system's intake format without guessing.

Path 3: scheduled exports with Zapier

WhatConverts has a Zapier action, Create Export, that generates a CSV of filtered lead data and hands it to the next step in the Zap: email it as an attachment, or create a Google Sheet from it. The filters cover profile, date range, lead type, source, and quotable status.

Before canceling, this is the cleanest way to take a standing snapshot: schedule the export, let it deliver to your inbox or a Drive folder, and archive the results. After the account closes, the Zap stops, so run it for every period you want covered.

Check these before you cancel

  • Lead IDs: keep them in your archive; they are the only stable key if you ever need to reconcile history with a client.
  • Profile and journey data: WhatConverts' unified profiles hold multi-interaction history. Confirm how much of the journey exports as columns versus staying in the app.
  • Sales value and quotable status: if client reports quoted lead values, export those fields specifically.
  • Call recordings: recordings live with calls, not with CSV rows. Download the ones you need and spot-check they play.
  • Per-profile exports: run each client or profile separately so the migration mapping is clean.
  • Active integrations: list the endpoints and Zaps currently receiving lead data, because those are the flows you must repoint, not just export.

Pointing the leads somewhere new

WhatConverts receives leads from website tracking scripts, forms, chats, and call tracking. Lucidity can capture configured website forms and receive leads through webhook or email Intakes. Map incoming data to the Intake's accepted format and test a lead before switching. Keep a separate call or chat tool for channels Lucidity does not capture.

Keep exported history in an archive. Do not replay historical leads into a live Intake: they can be treated as new inquiries and delivered to your CRM again. Agree on a separate migration plan before importing history.

Compare both systems during an overlap period, but make only one responsible for CRM delivery. Reconcile by lead type, not just total counts, and close the old account only after confirming tracking, number porting, and delivery for the channels you need.

Frequently asked questions

Can I export all my data from WhatConverts?

Yes. The Lead Manager exports the entire data set, a filtered set, or the currently visible rows, and the Export All Data feature is presented as a one-click full download. Agencies should export per profile to keep client data separated.

Does WhatConverts charge for exports?

Exports are part of the product rather than a separately purchased add-on. Check your current plan and the help center for any limits that apply to your account tier before relying on a specific cadence.

Can I automate exports before leaving?

Yes. The Zapier Create Export action generates filtered CSV exports on a schedule and can email them or load them into Google Sheets. Archive the results before closing the account, because the Zap stops with it.

Do call recordings come with the export?

Recordings live with calls rather than as CSV columns. Download the ones you need from the app and verify the files play before you close the account.
